 In 2006 Emma Knowles was selected to participate in the BBC TV series Star Portraits. The BBC 1 show, which is fronted by Rolf Harris CBE, using the format of a celebrity sitting for three portrait painters, whilst being informally 'interviewed' by Rolf Harris. Emma's showed involved Carry On and Eastenders star Barbara Windsor MBE.
The two other artists selected for this show were Tom Wood, and Felicity Gill. All three portrait painters vastly different in how they both approach their work and deliver the final piece. Initially the artists were allowed a three hour sitting at hfh llg dljgl dfkj
